Why Recycle Inkjet Cartridges? Reuse Before Recycling
An empty inkjet cartridge is not just plastic. It contains an engineered ink chamber, a print head with fine nozzles and an electrical contact circuit. Throwing it away discards all of that.
Reuse comes first
The most valuable thing to do with a good empty cartridge is to use it again. Remanufacturing keeps the shell and print head in service, so they do not need to be made again from new materials.
Less waste
Every cartridge we remanufacture is one less cartridge going to landfill or incineration. Cartridges that cannot be remanufactured are sent for material recycling rather than general waste.
Why one central base in Hong Kong
Empty cartridges from many countries are shipped centrally to our remanufacturing base in Hong Kong and remanufactured there, rather than routed through several facilities. Finished cartridges then ship directly worldwide from Hong Kong.
We deliberately do not publish emission figures unless they come from a verifiable source. Read more about our approach.
